The Sands Torquay

Discover some of Torquay's most beautiful beaches with this pleasant trail. Starting from Fisherman's Beach follow the coastline as you enjoy the fresh coastal air and gorgeous coastal scenery. This route passes by Front Beach, Cosy Corner Beach and Torquay War Memorial all of which are well worth a visit. Parking is available off the Esplanade near where the trail begins. There are lots of public facilities along the way including BBQs, picnic tables, toilets, and showers.

This is the second section of the Surf Coast Walk that explores the beautiful Torquay Promenade. The trail is also flat, paved and suitable for wheelchairs and strollers and the kids to enjoy. Enjoy the views over the wild offshore reefs and the ships’ graveyard off Point Danger, where the trail finishes.

The Surf Coast Walk is a two and a half day walk along the coastal cliffs, big wave beaches and superb flowers. Starts at Point Impossible and ends at Fairhaven. There are 12 trailheads along the entirety of the walk so you can choose to hike it straight through or split it up into multiple easy day hikes. No part of the walk is too strenuous as it follows the coast on sandy tracks and boardwalks with options to escape into a coastal village for a snack and coffee when you feel low on...

This is section number three of the Surf Coast Walk, exploring the coastline of Torquay. There are several gorgeous lookout points along the way where you can catch views out over the many surf breaks, wild headlands and sheltered bays of the Surf Coast. There are public toilets available at Torquay and Jan Juc Surf Beaches.

The Rocky Point Headland Loop is a lovely scenic trail along the coastline near Torquay, located south west from Melbourne on the coastline of Victoria. The trail follows a series of sandy walking tracks overlooking the beautiful beach and surf. A relatively easy walk that is suitable for the whole family to enjoy.
