An enjoyable paddle out on the Barwon River in the city of Geelong, located south west from Melbourne, Victoria. This out and back route begins from the boat ramp at the Geelong Canoe Club on Marnock Road in Balyang. From here you'll paddle up under the Princes River, continue up and under the Queens Park Bridge and around the edge of Queens Park. Return via the same route.

A beautiful trail that will make you forget you're in the city of Geelong, Victoria. This looped route begins and ends from the parking area in Barwon Valley Park - located off the Promenade. Begin following the southern banks of the Barwon River, all the way up to Fyansford Common park, where you'll cross over and begin making your way back along the north eastern banks of the river - crossing the McIntyre Bridge to bring you back to where you started.

Perfect for walking, riding, running and there are a number of playgrounds along the way. It can be sued to get to shopping centres and cinemas, Geelong Regional Baseball Centre, Waurn Ponds Skate Park plus Cobbin Homestead and Chapel It starts at the shopping centre where there is ample parking available. A nice riverside trail near Geelong, Victoria. This trail connects Fyansford Common and Queens Park via trails along both sides of the Barwon River. It is an easy trail for all the family. The trails along the river are popular and get crowded but this route is a great way to escape some of the busier areas.

Variations to make your trip longer can be made with the nearby tracks that link up at the to the northern section of Barwon River Trail and in the south with the Waurn Ponds Creek loop.
