Hotel Gran Palace Dog Friendly Review

This hotel is not certified. Assessed against the Roch Dog Friendly Standard, Hotel Gran Palace failed to meet our minimum requirements: it does not provide dogs with food and water bowls, and does not welcome dogs in its bar or lounge.

On the plus side, most rooms are dog friendly; dogs can be left in the room on their own; there are green spaces or parks close by; staff can point you to local dog walk routes; there is no dog fee; and no damage deposit is charged.

On the downside, there is a weight limit of around 50 lb; no dog bed is provided; there is no dog walking or sitting service; there is no garden or dedicated dog space on site; and no free treats are offered.

Hotel Gran Palace With Your Dog · Good To Know

Is Hotel Gran Palace dog friendly?

No. Hotel Gran Palace allows dogs, but being allowed to bring a dog and being genuinely dog friendly are not the same thing. We assessed it against the Roch Dog Friendly Standard and it failed to meet even our minimum requirements, so it is not certified and holds our lowest rating. The review above explains where it falls short.

Is there a pet fee at Hotel Gran Palace?

No. Hotel Gran Palace does not charge a pet fee. There is no additional deposit.

Is there a weight limit for dogs at Hotel Gran Palace?

Yes. Dogs up to 50 lb are welcome at Hotel Gran Palace. If your dog is heavier than that, it is worth speaking to the hotel before booking to see what can be arranged.

Can I leave my dog alone in the room at Hotel Gran Palace?

Yes. Dogs may be left unattended in the room at Hotel Gran Palace. We would still suggest letting reception know and making sure your dog is calm and settled before you head out, so housekeeping and other guests are never caught by surprise.
