The Nest is not certified. Assessed against the Roch Dog Friendly Standard, it missed one of our minimum requirements: dogs are not provided with food and water bowls. That caps the rank at F.
A number of rooms welcome dogs, and dogs are welcome in the bar, the restaurant and the lounge, so you are not shut away at mealtimes. There is no weight limit. Staff have been trained to look after canine guests, and green spaces and parks are close by, with staff on hand to point you to the good walks.
The dog fee is $40 per night. No dog bed, treats, toys or poo bags are provided, there is no garden or dedicated dog space on site, there is no dog walking or sitting service, and dogs cannot be left alone in the room. Pack a set of bowls and this is a comfortable stay for a dog, and certification needs only that gap closed.
