The Pell

F Roch Rank

The Pell Dog Friendly Review

The Pell is not certified. Assessed against the Roch Dog Friendly Standard, it missed one of our minimum requirements: dogs are not provided with food and water bowls. That caps the rank at F.

A number of rooms welcome dogs, dogs are welcome in the lounge and the garden, so you are not shut away at mealtimes, and there is a dedicated dog space on site. The hotel provides poo bags for walks and dog sitting can be arranged. Green spaces and parks are close by, with staff on hand to point you to the good walks. The hotel also supports pet charities.

The dog fee is $125 dollars per stay, and there is a weight limit of 50 lb, so check ahead if you travel with a larger dog. No dog bed, treats or toys are provided, there is no dog walking service, dogs cannot be left alone in the room, and staff have not had formal training for canine guests. Pack a set of bowls and this is a comfortable stay for a dog, and certification needs only that gap closed.
