The Prince Akatoki London does offer some genuine flexibility for dog owners, with no weight or size limit imposed on dogs staying at the hotel. There is also no damage deposit required, which removes a common financial hurdle found at many other properties.

That said, the accommodation is limited in scope, as only some rooms are designated dog friendly rather than the whole hotel. There is no garden or dedicated dog space, and no dog wash or shower area for guests to use. Dogs cannot be left alone in the room, which restricts an owner's freedom during their stay, and there is no access to the bar, restaurant, terrace or lounge with a dog. Practical touches such as food and water bowls, a dog bed, poop bags and guidance on nearby walking routes are all absent, and the hotel offers no dog-walking or dog-sitting service for owners who need support.
