This route begins in the Jardin Anglais park, right on the shore of Lake Geneva. Then it's along the promenade along the harbor and you make a short detour to the beaches Plage des Eaux Vives with a great view. Then continue walking along the promenade and past the Port Noir along the Quai de Cologny. A nice trip for the whole family.

This route is the last stage of the Swiss Way of the Via Jacobi and ends in France just after the border. On the way you can discover the castle and the church of St-Croix and in Grand Salève the tower of the former castle-fortress. The castle was the seat of a Hospitaller Commandery until the French Revolution in 1798. Today this castle is a museum about the Order of Malta.
