Kimpton Canary Hotel: Certified Dog-Friendly Rank & Review
The Kimpton Canary Hotel has scored an awesome A rank, making it a fantastic choice for dog owners visiting Santa Barbara. Most of their rooms are dog-friendly, so availability should never be an issue. Dogs are welcome in the hotel lounge and public areas, allowing your canine companion to enjoy more than just the room. Plus, dogs can stay in the room on their own, offering flexibility for dog owners who need to step out for a bit.
The hotel provides dog beds and food/water bowls, ensuring your four-legged friend is comfortable during your stay. With public green spaces nearby, it's easy to take your dog for a walk or a quick bathroom break. The hotel also offers dog-walking services, which is a big deal for those moments when you need a break or have other commitments. Free treats for canine guests add a nice touch to the overall experience and keep your dog happy.
Dogs stay for free at the Kimpton Canary Hotel, which is a big deal since most hotels charge a canine tax. There are no weight limits or restrictions, meaning that dogs of all sizes are welcome, and there's no limit on the number of dogs per room. This level of inclusivity is commendable and sets the hotel apart, especially if you have two dogs.

The east fork of this trail is mostly shady with a few creek crossings and beautiful views toward the top. This loop has some steep sections throughout the hike with a few short scrambles, but as you get to the top the trail flattens out. There are a variety of small waterfalls along the trail, and they are best viewed after a heavy rain or during the winter months.
