Nimb Hotel holds an A Roch Rank, which places it among the top ten per cent of dog friendly hotels in the world, and it brings your dog somewhere few hotels can: the heart of Tivoli Gardens. The hotel is the grand Moorish-style white palace on the edge of Tivoli, inaugurated in 1909 and named after Vilhelm Nimb and his wife Louise, the restaurateurs who opened their first restaurant here in 1872. It looks out over the gardens in the centre of Copenhagen, with the city's streets and squares on the doorstep for the morning walk.
Inside are 38 uniquely decorated rooms and suites, most of which welcome dogs, alongside Nimb Brasserie, Fru Nimb for Danish open sandwiches, Nimb Bar for cocktails and afternoon tea, the Cakenhagen patisserie, a seasonal roof terrace with a pool, and Nimb Wellness with its hammam. A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, it holds One MICHELIN Key and was named Denmark's Hotel of the Year by Falstaff for 2026. Dogs are welcome in the lobby and lounge, while the bar and restaurants are kept for people, which room service takes care of, and your dog may stay in the room if you head out for dinner. There is no weight limit, so a large dog is as welcome as a small one.
Your dog arrives to one of the most complete welcome packages we see: a bed, food and water bowls, treats, a toy, poo bags, fur spray, dog shampoo and a towel for drying paws after a walk, with a Sleeping Dog sign for the door. The concierge can arrange a dog sitter for an evening out, dog walking and grooming, and will point you to the best walking routes, with green spaces a short walk away. The fee is DKK 1,100 per stay with no deposit, and for an owner visiting Copenhagen there is no more memorable address to share with a dog.
