Most rooms welcome dogs, and dogs are welcome in the bar, the restaurant and the lounge, so your dog is with you for the evening. There is no weight limit, so a big dog is treated the same as a small one, and dogs can be left alone in the room. The hotel provides a dog bed, free treats, toys and poo bags for walks. Green spaces and parks are close by, with staff on hand to point you to the good walks. The hotel also supports pet charities and has picked up awards and press attention for its dog friendly work.
The dog fee is $25 per night. There is no garden or dedicated dog space on site, there is no dog walking or sitting service, and staff have not had formal training for canine guests. Bring your own bowls and your dog will be well looked after here, and certification needs only that gap closed.
