Most rooms welcome dogs, and dogs are welcome in the bar and the garden, so you are not shut away at mealtimes. The hotel sets its dog fee as follows: $30 (+tax) per night for the first 6 nights. $180 (+tax) one-time charge for longer stays. There is a weight restriction, so check ahead if you travel with a larger dog. No dog bed, treats, toys or poo bags are provided, there is no dog walking or sitting service, dogs cannot be left alone in the room, and staff have not had formal training for canine guests. Bring your own bowls and it does the job, and certification needs only that gap closed.
