Monemvasia Lighthouse Trail (Διαδρομή προς τον Φάρο της Μονεμβασιάς) This wonderful route takes place along the north side of the Monemvasia peninsula, which has been characterized as a place of special natural beauty and historical place. It starts after the bridge and heads to the eastern tip of the peninsula, north of the old town of Monemvasia, at Lipsonas place. The lighthouse first opened in January 1897. The specific nature of the landscape and the view to the sea are incomparable.
