Visit the bird observatory Tij, a collaboration between Vogelbescherming Nederland and Natuurmonumenten. The observatory is located on the edge of the Scheelhoek bird sanctuary, on the banks of the Haringvliet. A beautiful path over decking has been constructed, where you can enjoy special views over the water. Then you arrive at Tij, a special building in the shape of the egg of the sandwich tern. In addition to the tern, many other birds live here. You do need boots here at high tide!

The Scheelhoek area used to be a sandbank. Now it is part swamp, part forest and parts are grasslands. During this trail you walk through the woods of Scheelhoek. A beautiful piece of peaceful nature, where woodpeckers live and sea buckthorns grow. Optionally, you can visit the Kiekgat, with views over reed beds and waters. The route is marked with yellow arrows.

The Quackpad runs through the beautiful Voornes Duin nature reserve. The route takes you over the beach and through the dunes to the Quackjeswater. Then you walk on the edge of the dunes and again on the beach back to the starting point. The route is well marked and it is possible to halve the walking route.

The Quackjeswater is a natural lake located in Voornes Duin. A beautiful environment with a wide variety of nature and animals. The route runs around the water and past the viewpoint. You also have the option to make a small detour halfway through the route to visit the beach.
