B&B Matterhorn Golf

Very nice hike but rather difficult with a lot of elevation from Randa to the Weisshorn hut. This hut is located on a ledge with an incredible view of the south-east face of the Weisshorn as well as many other four-thousand-meter peaks. The path starts and ends in Randa and goes via Jatzalpe, Weisshornhütte, Schatzplatte, Schaliberg.

The Kinhütte was built by mountain guides from Randa and Täsch and was used as accommodation for hunters, hikers and mountaineers. It is located outside the tourist crowd. That is why it is the ideal place for experienced mountain hikers who are looking for peace and quiet.

This great circular hike leads over the famous Randa suspension bridge. The path runs through dreamlike larch forests and leads to the record building: the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge. At 494 m, it is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. The route climbs further up to the Europahütte Refuge (2220m) and leads back to the starting point on the Domhüttenweg path.

The Europaweg is a high route with the difficulty T3 which is located in the canton of Valais. This trail is from Randa to Grächen. The path through the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge is also called the Europe Bridge. It opened in 2010 and was destroyed by a rock fall two months later. Because of the destroyed bridge, hikers had to descend 500 meters into the valley for years and then climb back up on the other side.

This municipality is part of the Visp district and is located at an altitude of 1406 meters above sea level. The path goes to the Europahütte.
