The route proceeds in a clockwise loop passing near Monte Santoleo (644m) and reaching Monte Recavallo (544m), then returning to the starting point.

A walk or a run along the Fiumefreddo coast, starting from Marina di Cottone, in the Fiumefreddo River Nature Reserve and following the seafront. You arrive in Fondachello, a seaside town of Mascali. On the seafront there is a pedestrian path and a cycle path. The route crosses the La Gurna river which flows into the sea.
