Dales Country House, Sheringham: Certified Dog Friendly Rank & Review

Dales Country House scored a solid 'B+' rank, making them the most dog friendly hotel in Sheringham and the surrounding area. Dogs are welcome in the bar, and in their public areas, but aren't allowed in the restaurant. However, when our founder stayed there they set him up a table in the library so he could have an English breakfast with his dog in the morning. Dales Country House offers several amenities for dogs, including dog beds, food and water bowls, and free treats. Dogs are allowed to stay in the rooms on their own, which adds convenience, but you will need to bring your own dog food with you. The best bit about Dales Country House is the Sheringham Park right next door, and connected to their private gardens, perfect for long and leisurely off leash dog walks, English weather allowing of course! This is one of our Founders favorite hotels, he said he really enjoyed his three day stay here, and had some amazing English country dog walks in the sunshine through the surrounding parkland, and on the nearby beaches. He also said that their restaurant was exceptional, and that his dinners and English breakfast were perfect. They only have a few dog friendly rooms though, so always call ahead to ensure availability. The hotel has a size restriction for dogs, with a limit of 10 pounds, and charges a fee of 15 GBP per night for dogs.
