This route features a nice shady trail with beautiful rock formations along the way. Some sections of the trail have big roots that protrude out of the soil, and other parts are narrow but are mostly manageable for moderate-level riders. During most parts of the year, you usually have to cross the creek in the beginning but it may be dry in the summer months.

This is a great trail located behind the Lower Falls at McKinney Falls State Park. The trail itself is a wide and well-maintained gravel path with many offshoots. It is advised to bring water shoes to cross the shallow area uphill of the falls or be prepared for leaping from rock to rock over the falls if the water levels are moderate/high.

This multi-use trail travels over rocky terrain through the woodlands. The access trail is via Homestead Trail which then branches off to form a lollipop loop. This route is less-traveled than the other popular trails at McKinney Falls State Park. Mountain biking is a popular activity to enjoy in the area but it is not advised to ride after heavy rainfall.

This route uses a combination of trails including the Homestead Trail, Flint Rock Trail, and the Williamson Creek Overlook Trail. The route is fairly flat for the majority of the way and very shaded as it travels through a woodland area. There is a bit of highway noise as you get close to the Williamson Creek area as it parallels a busy road.

This is a nice, mostly flat trail that travels to Secret Beach. There is not much shade along the way, and it is suggested to bring some form of sun protection. There are other connecting trails from this trailhead, for those who want to explore more in the area or extend their hike. There are many deer inhabitants in this area, and it is likely that you will encounter some along the trail!
