This is a nice, mostly flat trail that travels to Secret Beach. There is not much shade along the way, and it is suggested to bring some form of sun protection. There are other connecting trails from this trailhead, for those who want to explore more in the area or extend their hike. There are many deer inhabitants in this area, and it is likely that you will encounter some along the trail!

This is a secluded part of a wooded area that is located right in Austin. There are beautiful views of the river and the area is located in a beautiful forest setting. This park provides easy access to the outdoors and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of city life. You may even see the large deer population that calls this place home!

This is a great paved multi-use trail that goes by a lake. There are some road crossings, so please use caution. Accessibility: There are 3 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Jain Lane at the southwest end of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. This route features a nice shady trail with beautiful rock formations along the way. Some sections of the trail have big roots that protrude out of the soil, and other parts are narrow but are mostly manageable for moderate-level riders. During most parts of the year, you usually have to cross the creek in the beginning but it may be dry in the summer months.

This is a great trail located behind the Lower Falls at McKinney Falls State Park. The trail itself is a wide and well-maintained gravel path with many offshoots. It is advised to bring water shoes to cross the shallow area uphill of the falls or be prepared for leaping from rock to rock over the falls if the water levels are moderate/high.
