The path is mostly shaded and travels through a forested area. The route is not very well-marked and downloading the route beforehand to navigate is suggested.

The trail is rocky at first, then becomes nice gravel and natural surfaces with little elevation gain. There is a creek crossing at one section of the trail that can be quite deep after heavy rainfall. It is suggested to download the map offline ahead of time to navigate as it can be tricky in some sections.
