This is a simple route located in a huge network of trails- visitors can choose to DIY their route and customize the trails however they please. This trail is nice and easy, with many side trails to take to visit the creek. Head off the trail to the right towards the beginning, and it’ll take you along the creek which makes for a good place for dogs to swim.
Activities
Features
This is a great route for biking, walking, or running. Many visitors enjoy sunbathing at the creek while dogs play in the water. There are many interconnecting trails in the area to extend this hike and continue exploring. It is not advised to travel along the route when conditions are wet as the trails can become very muddy. Walking and biking along the wet clay can further the damage done by the rain.
Activities

This is a relatively easy hike that travels along the Windy Loop Trail and the BMX Loop Trail. There is a little bonus in exploring the old abandoned Coxville Zoo which is accessible just off the start of the BMX trail. There are many switchbacks and hills along this route, making for a great workout. For those who wish to extend their route, consider adding one of the many other short loops in the area.
