Here is a stage of the Vélodyssée punctuated by exceptional views of the ocean but somewhat sporty and shared with the cars. Do not hesitate to put down your bike: picnic areas, tables and interpretation trails are placed all along the route. Departure facing the ocean, your face flooded with spray, in the very heart of Biarritz. Starting to cross the Pyrenean foothills by Véloroute 81 requires first of all to follow the Atlantic coast to the mouth of the Adour; a godsend as the landscapes offered by this sample of Basque coastline, from the cliffs of the Biarritz lighthouse to the blond sands of Anglet, are among the most beautiful for starting a bicycle trip. This hike along the Basque coast departs from Biarritz in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The route begins at the Biarritz Lighthouse, takes the Boulevard des Plages and returns to the starting point by the Promenade Victor Mendiboure along the Plages de la Madrague. An easy route that offers magnificent views of the Bay of Biscay on foot or by bike.

The start of this course is in the parking lot of the Biarritz lighthouse in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. This route essentially runs along the coast and passes by the Miramar beach, my Grande beach, the port of Biarritz, the rock of the Virgin, the Port Vieux beach and ends at the square Jean-Baptise Lasalle.

This pretty coastal walk begins by skirting the Plage de la Petite Chambre d'Amour, takes you to the Chambre d'Amour then takes the Allée Paul Prieto and the Promenade des Sources.
