Walk around the entire circumference of Jekyll Island along trails, sidewalks, bike paths, and boardwalks. Along the way visitors will see beaches, swamps, and tide pools. Horseshoe crabs, deer, egrets, and other wildlife call the island home.

In 1735, William Horton presumed ownership over Jekyll Island. There is a lot of history around this site which also includes the cemetery of the DuBignon Family, which were the previous inhabitants of the island. The Horton House is one of the oldest buildings in Georgia and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This is a short trail off the main road on Jekyll Island to hike to Driftwood Beach. It's very easy.
