This is a popular route that travels on the Brushy Creek Greenbelt and provides many recreational opportunities to the community. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by cyclists and hikers. There is a decent amount of shade throughout the path, making for a great place to escape the summer heat.

This is the eastern portion of a longer trail system. Man-made paths pass through various parks along Brushy Creek in West Round Rock and pass by a waterfall. It is enjoyable but not very secluded. Approximately 2/3 of the trail is shaded, so plan to be in the hot sun. Trails are mostly crushed granite with few spots having paved sidewalks. Some of the features include educational postings on local plant life, wildlife, and history. This is a shaded and lovely walk beginning from Trailhead Neighborhood Park. The beginning is along a paved path for the first quarter mile or so and then turns to a natural dirt surface throughout the trail. There is a decent little climb halfway through the trail that makes for an interesting change of terrain.
