This is a very well kept county park trail system with both paved and unpaved paths. Trails are well marked with signs at every intersection and blazes. Park is pet-friendly. Admission to park is $2 per person and there are many amenities including playground, dog park, splash pad, picnic areas, and paddle boats.

This is a beautiful nature walk that goes through a the very old and well known Magnolia Plantation, Historic Garden and Audubon Swamp. This loop is a great easy hikes with lots of wildlife, including numerous alligators. Please be mindful with dogs around the alligators. There are lots of routes and segments at the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, making it very easy to shorten or lengthen this route.

Right along the Ashley River, there are old stableyards, a restaurant, Inn, and farm located here.
