For an easier hike, head to the left (clockwise). For a steeper hike, head right (counterclockwise). This trail is considered a more advanced-moderate hike due to the elevation gain. The trailhead is almost at the top of the trail (the highest is about 180 feet above the parking area), though you can drive to the highest point, which has a glider launch.
