A pleasant gravel converted rail-trail popular for cycling or walking that goes by a swamp. Great for walking or biking. Accessibility: There are at least 2 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Lowell Street at the southwest end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The trail surface is boardwalk (with partial railings) or gravel and typically at least 5 feet wide. The sanctuary is open to the public from dawn to dusk only. Please be aware this is private property and this trail requires a pass in order to hike. Walk around this short loop to find yourself on wooden paths that will take you past several water bodies and through some beautiful woods where chickadees will readily land on your hand for bird feed that is available from dispensers on the trail.
