The start of the trail at Beaver Rock Trail may sometimes be temporarily closed due to flood damage, but it’s easy to avoid by starting at Barrens Trail. Bikes are not allowed in the preserve. Nice and well marked trails, although a map is handy since there are lots of intersections. A great route for kids and dogs.
