Wonderful walk in a neighborhood that is full of character and history. This walk along the St. Lawrence River offers superb landscapes along the river. The road is full of points of interest; restaurants, creamery, bike shops, lighthouse, sailing school, outdoor sculpture, beautiful church. Several facilities are in place such as drinking troughs and bathrooms, picnic tables and benches. Good for hot days in the city. The Westmount loop is a hike to the top of the woods. There are a few trails and entry points. Parking is fairly easy on Ridgewood, depending on traffic. The trail is nice and there is a nice view and the Summit Circle Lookout. Great quick dose of forest in the city. The hustle and bustle of the city always fades when you walk through this park. Easy trails that allow you to practice walking and meditation in the forest.
