This is a long popular easy to access trail leading out of Varzob. It crosses seven bridges back and forth over the river -- the final bridge is now just a clump of rocks. You can catch a mashrutka to Varzob and in the center of town, go right and follow the road for about a mile until it turns into a trail. The first bridge will lead you left over the river. Many beautiful views and very peaceful. Child friendly.

A lovely hike through one of the valleys near the hostels. This trail is perfect especially in the spring time when the grass is green. This is a route that takes you out on the donkey trails for the first half and then brings you down along the river and through the canyon (you may get wet along the way ) to reach the main trail again.
