This loop trail is easy to follow and mostly flat with one or two small hills. There is parking available at several lots nearby if this one is full. There are lots of little side trails to explore in the trees along the way! There are washrooms at Emily Murphy Park which are open throughout the day.

This looped walk is beautiful and it even offers a few opportunities to head off of the asphalt path and explore the areas along the shorelines and hills, with many staircases that will lead you from the Funicular to the Shumka Stage (Millennium Plaza) Louise McKinney Riverfront Park to the Tawatina Footbridge. The Royal Glenora Stairs are a staple in Edmonton's river valley and some of the most trafficked stairs in Edmonton.
