It quickly became one of the most important strongholds in Normandy, protected by an imposing defence system. At its peak, 2 km of ramparts, 50 towers and 6 fortified gates ensured its protection. The start of this pretty mountain bike trail is in the parking lot at Place des Bercagnes at the foot of the Château de Falaise in the Calvados department. This route draws a loop which crosses in particular the Bois du Roi, the Bois de la Tour and the Bois Royal de Villers. It then passes through Potigny as well as the Brèche au Diable.
