This is a short and easy climb from the Sturla district of Genoa to Fort Richelieu (420m) built between 1747 and 1809. The whole city is surrounded by many of these forts built around the 19th century. Continuing, in fact, you can reach Fort Monteratti (which can be visited) and Torre Serralunga.
