A varied hike that provides the best nature and cultural experiences. The nature is varied with vast meadows and pastures with grazing sheep, beech-clad ravines and clearings. The trail runs on varied roads, everything from narrow forest paths, wider gravel and dirt roads to some paved cycle paths and smaller village streets in hilly terrain. Along the trail there are plenty of picnic areas and cafes.

The hike follows paths and smaller roads through beach forests, past bathing and boat moorings and close to buildings. Along the trail you pass "Europe's rainforest" at Sweden's longest swamp footbridge, the architect - designed bird platform Slingra dig med utemuseum, Sweden's oldest settlement, Mölleröds kungsgård and Hovdala tree house, the largest in the Nordic countries. The trail is marked with a pink marking.
