This is the most heavily used trail in the San Jacinto Wilderness, and leads to a historic fire-lookout tower and great views of the incredible San Jacinto Mountain range. The parking lot is located right on the border. There are lots of people on the weekend and the trail quota fills up fast, so it is a good idea to get there early for a spot.
