After crossing to the other side of the gravel parking lot the trail starts to ascend gradually with the view of the lake and mountain on one side. The bench about halfway up is a decent view of the lake, but if you continue you will get a better view of the canyon. If you keep to the left of the trail you will work your way to the viewpoint that shows the iconic bend in the road. It will require you to climb up some rocks at the last part, but it is not difficult and the path is clear....

There are two parking areas to start this trail from. The first is right along the highway as shown here, while the second is about 2.5km in. This small parking area has an outhouse and can usually be reached with a higher-clearance vehicle. The walk in is a good warm-up anyway! It's a beautiful forest trail with lots of mud, downed trees, and creek crossings. Hike up the boulder field to gorgeous views of Rohr Lake and the surrounding scenery! There are a few flat spots along the lake for a...

The trail to Nairn Falls is a relatively straightforward pathway with gradual elevation beginning from Nairn Falls Provincial Campground. A few diversions allow you to walk down to the river banks (off course, proceed with caution). The volume/velocity of the falls and river is heavy, giving a gorgeous contrast against the static background. Make sure to follow the unmarked fence below the upper deck of the falls, it leads to a narrow, direct viewpoint of a second ferocious falls!
