Be advised. This hike involves stairs and quite a lot of them! Be mindful of this if you’re bringing your dog or looking for a hike and you haven’t done one in quite awhile. This hike is a great extension to the Temescal Canyon Trail which adds minimal elevation gain and distance, but greatly improves the experience. Take some time to explore Skull Rock and do some scrambling to get the best ocean views! Make sure to bring the app or downloaded map as it can be difficult to follow the route.
