This is a beautiful trail along the bluffs in Mendocino with scenic views of the coastline. You'll be hiking along the tops of dramatic coastal cliffs in some spots. There are many side trails that you can take to get better, more exposed views. This route takes you around the small town of Mendocino. You can turn around and head back the way you came, or take a stroll through the town back to your car!

This walk is a self-guided interpretive walk in old-growth redwoods with outstanding examples of plant life within an old-growth grove. A segment of this route has been designed for sight-impaired visitors. There is a guide rope along one side of the (Discovery) trail leading to a series of Braille Information placards.
