Hyatt Place Toronto, Mississauga: Certified Dog-Friendly Rank & Review
Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre received a failing F Roch Rank. This hotel is not the place for dog owners seeking a welcoming stay. Dogs are restricted to rooms and must be leashed in public spaces, with no access to the bar, restaurant, or lounge. The $75 fee for a 1-6 night stay is steep, especially given the lack of amenities like dog beds or bowls. The weight limit of 50 lbs excludes popular breeds like Labradors, making it less accommodating for many dog owners.
The absence of a garden or dedicated dog space means you'll need to venture out for walks, though nearby parks offer some relief. Dogs can't be left alone unless confined in a carrier during housekeeping, adding a layer of inconvenience. The hotel’s strict rules and limited access make it clear that dogs are more tolerated than welcomed.
In summary, the Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre falls short in providing a truly dog-friendly experience. The restrictions and fees outweigh the benefits, making it a challenging choice for dog owners.
This hotel has been evaluated, ranked, and reviewed using the Roch Standard, the world's first dog friendly standard for the hotel industry. We gathered data directly from the hotel, and benchmarked it against thousands of other hotels in order to fairly derive its rank.

This is a nice, well-marked trail along Etobicoke creek towards 401 and Pearson Airport. The trail is definitely better suited for biking and roller-blading rather than walking if you're looking for scenery. But the grasslands and certain treed spots are beautiful, especially in summer. Lots of different birds can be spotted in the area.
