This trail along the shoreline of Lake Ontario follows a mix of paved, gravel, and rocky pathways. The most serene sections of the trail will be near the end when you get to walk out along the parks that extend further into the lake. Most of the route is quite flat, and will be easy for most people. Walkers remind folks that in winter, some sections are quite icy due to the large waterbody here. There are a few picnic tables and benches that are open year-round.

You may even see some wildlife on this route such as deers, frogs, and birds. There are also lots of flowers in the appropriate season including some fully blossoming trees.
