This is a serene walk along Navarre Beach. Parking can be found in many locations along Gulf Blvd. There is ample parking located east of the pier. The entire beach and surrounding water tower were all filming locations for Jaws 2. There are lots of shells, sugar-fine sand, and turquoise water to admire in this area. There is no shade and bringing some form of sun protection is advised.

This trail is a mostly flat hike through a beautiful old hardwood and pine forest. The trail gradually descends to a marshy area on elevated railroad ties and then crosses a narrow wooden bridge over Dean Creek, a cold clear stream that flows year-round. A slight uphill takes you to Dean Camp which has a fire pit and two benches.

This trail starts next to the Gulf Islands National Seashore Headquarters. It runs from the Naval Live Oak Area and exits at the Santa Rosa Sound shoreline. This fully accessible trail leads to a 30-foot-wide wooden deck and benches. There is a beautiful overlook of the Santa Rosa Sound that is ideal to photograph the sunset or view wildlife. This is a shaded trail that travels on part boardwalk and part sandy trail. There are beautiful views of the beach and plenty of flowers, butterflies, and wildlife to observe. Visitors can depart the fully accessible Brackenridge Boardwalk Trail and venture onto the 0.5-mile Brackenridge Double Loop Trail. This trail is not fully accessible. It connects to the Fishing Trail and an Brackenridge observation deck.

This is a convenient and scenic natural area that is close to town and great for getting a quick walk in. The trail travels through a forested area and this park preserves a lot of unique local flora and fauna to the area. Parking is located at Mary Esther Post Office, which is right across the street from the library.
