Thompson Central Park - New York

This route begins from the southern end of Central Park and passes The Pond, The Lake, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, East Meadow, and Harlem Meer before ending at the northern boundary of the park. The area is a respite from city life where New Yorkers can walk amongst trees and large lawns.

The Queensboro Bridge Path crosses over the East River connecting Manhattan and Queens crossing over Roosevelt Island. The bridge was simply known as the Queensboro Bridge before it was renamed in 2011 after former New York City Mayor, Ed Koch. This is a flat, easy loop around the reservoir with wonderful views of the New York City skyline along the way. The loop is incredibly popular with runners, so you can expect to see people exercising around the loop at all hours daily. The flat terrain makes this a good loop for visitors to Central Park of all ages.
