From the Rosie Rueter Trailhead, you'll head out on the Rosie Rueter Trail, then take the Incline Challenge Trail back. It can be hiked in either direction, however. Dogs are not allowed on the incline itself, but can be on the trail. The area is open from sunrise to sunset. There are portable bathroom facilities available at the parking lot. The Incline features 132 steps, but aside from that, the trail is fairly easy to travel.

This awesome route offers hikers some sweeping views of the Colorado Front Range mountains, the Denver metro area, and grassland vegetation and wildlife. The predominantly soft-surface trail is easy, and should be manageable for most hikers, with just a few short, steep sections (8% grade). Fairly heavy traffic. Open sunrise to sunset.

Closest parking lot is Shop Creek Trail Parking lot. Dogs, horses and bikes are not allowed on this trail.

This is a pleasant, family-friendly trail that encircles Cherry Creek Reservoir. The area is popular not only for walking but for camping, swimming, and kayaking as well. While most of this route is dog-friendly, the portion along the Pipeline Trail is not. It is suggested to park in the Tower Loop parking lot and take the route counter-clockwise, beginning with the Dam Trail.
