This is a fantastic four seasons loop that gives you a sneak peek of Rouge National Urban Park from the south corridor. Trail access from the Glen Rouge Campground. The trail crosses the Rouge river, to climb a mount between the river and the Little Rouge Creek. It is a well maintained route, with steps climbing the mount. Plenty of nice views of the river and it's valley along the way. Expect some muddy sections along the way.

Waterfront route that explores the shores of Lake Ontario between Rosebank Station and Frenchman's Bay. Access from the parking lots along Lawrence Avenue East, along the mouth of Rouge river. This route crosses Petticoat Creek Conservation Area and the Rotary Park, to end on the pier of the canal into Frenchman's Bay.

The loop follows Little Rouge Creek. At the trail junction, then it climbs the escarpment to the railroad. The return follows the escarpment's edge before returning to the starting point. Expect muddy sections and bugs most of the year, especially when close to the low-lying areas with wetlands. The trailhead for this short loop around the Orchard Trail is accessed from the parking lot off Twyne Rivers Drive.
