The forest of the La Forestière trail allows you to make beautiful discoveries. The path passes through a coniferous forest worthy of an animated film, and offers a beautiful place to eat along the banks of the Choinière Reserve. The hike is mostly covered by trees which makes it nice to do on hot days. Perfect if you have a dog, as there are plenty of water points along the way. The trail is well maintained and well marked. The trail is surrounded by campgrounds.

This is a great trail along the river that is also kid friendly, short, flat, and is a nice nature theme with interpretive signage along the trail about the local plants and animals of the forest. Overall, this is a perfect mini hike with plenty of picnic tables for breaks.
