This is a beautiful, almost entirely paved walk that crosses and runs along the tip of the Sirmione peninsula and reaches Jamaica Beach under the Grotte di Catullo. These caves are the ancient ruins of a Roman villa built at the end of the 1st century. Here there is also a museum that can be visited. The departure is from the Castle of Rocca Scagliera. The beach is not just sand but quite rocky at times and you have to walk in the water on stones before you can dive. But you can still swim....
