This route offers you a wide variety of landscapes: from the Malraux peninsula to the European institutions, and Neustadt, through the parks of Orangerie, Pourtalès and the neighboring municipalities of Strasbourg. And to stretch your legs, make a stop on the equipped beach of the Ballastière in Bischheim. Leave the Parc de l'Étoile, and follow the track of the forts to the Château de Pourtalès for 6.5 km. This walk in the heart of Strasbourg in the Bas-Rhin takes you on a discovery of its rich architectural heritage, its landscaped banks and its canals. The route begins near the Pont d'Austerlitz, joins the Quai des Bateliers along the Ill, at the Pont d'Auvergne you will follow the Aare on the Quai Zorn. The route continues in the Wacken district to the Maurice Barrès Bridge. On the way back you will cross Grande Île passing by Strasbourg Cathedral.

A course as unexpected as it is pleasant with the rivers of Ill and Bruche as a common thread. The municipalities of the second ring of the Eurometropolis, reserve you the charm of half-timbered houses and panoramic views towards the Vosges and the Black Forest. Leave Place de l'Étoile and head towards Heyritz Park. Then follow the track to the left along the Canal du Rhône au Rhin for 4.5 km. Follow Illkirch-Graffenstaden then Illkrich center. At the route de Lyon, the track turns right....
