The Erith Coal Mine Track is a steep little trail through the woodland, heath and rainforest of the Morton National Park in New South Wales. The trail leads you down to the Erith Coal Mine (open from 1860s to 1915) and Erith Falls. There is fences which prevent entry to the mine, for safety reasons. The trail is clearly signposted along the way, with interesting historical signage. Campbells Rest Campground is located just up Echo Point Road if you're looking to extend your adventure.

A lovely family friendly walk through the town of Bowral, located about half way between Canberra and Sydney, New South Wales. This out and back looped route begins and ends conveniently from the Bowral train station, where parking is also available. The trail itself mostly follows along the Bowral Bike Path, which is shared by pedestrians, cyclists and prams.
