There are 15 cycling routes defined for the Tampere region. Ten of these are the main regional routes from the center to the surrounding areas. In addition to these quality corridors, the cycling route network includes main routes, regional routes and nearby routes. Routes are marked with a route number. The routes run on cycling routes. Route 2 runs from the center of Tampere to Kangasala.

To the northeast of Tampere, on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi, there is Kauppi folkpark, which is divided into two parts: the sports park area on the west side and the unified forest area on the east side. In winter, there are more than 120 km of groomed ski trails in the area, of which approx. 85 km are illuminated. The Finnish Championship 5 K is a Finnish championship level course that runs through the wonderful scenery of Kauppi.

Fitness Three is a fitness track for athletes of all levels that runs through the wonderful scenery of Kauppi. The route is a groomed cross country ski trail in winter.

Niihama House is called everyone's summer house in the middle of the city. The house has campfire sites, nature trails, orienteering terrain, café services, yard games, fishing and a sauna on request. In winter, equipment rental, e.g. snowshoes. This route starts from Kauppi Sports Center, and passes in the forest landscape through the Soukonvuori Nature Reserve to the house. The return route is along the road to the starting point.
