This trail is wide, smooth, clean, straight, and well-maintained...it's a great beginner trail for cyclists and still wonderful after years of experience. Accessibility: There are 4 designated accessible spaces in the partially paved parking lots off of Theodore Green Boulevard at the east end of the trail. Great area for trail running when hunting is not in season! Also there is a great pond for fishing and having a picnic. The trail is relatively flat and doesn't have many roots which make it great for trail running, or just a walk in the woods. You start in a pine wooded area--walking on needles, then venture through other forested areas with diverse ecosystems. A lot of these areas are actively being cut back as you will see.
