Great area for trail running when hunting is not in season! Also there is a great pond for fishing and having a picnic. The trail is relatively flat and doesn't have many roots which make it great for trail running, or just a walk in the woods. You start in a pine wooded area--walking on needles, then venture through other forested areas with diverse ecosystems. A lot of these areas are actively being cut back as you will see. This trail is wide, smooth, clean, straight, and well-maintained...it's a great beginner trail for cyclists and still wonderful after years of experience.
